You\u2019ll likely have already set your website up with SEO good practices, such as page descriptions and image meta data. When we launch a new site we always expect a small drop off to search engine impressions for the first 2 weeks, after that it should start increasing above and beyond your previous rankings. Fill in as much information as you can, it really makes all the difference.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Setup Google Search Console &amp; Google Analytics<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When you\u2019re following your SEO closely the best tools you have are GSC and GA. Data is your friend, and even if you don\u2019t plan to increase your SEO budget right now, when you go to make that move in the future the more data you\u2019ve gathered the better. These tools are both free to use too.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Content updates<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Regular content updates and blog posts will keep your website at the top of it\u2019s game. Make sure your website is a good reflection of your business and what you offer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Redirects<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have added extra pages or restructured your website then make sure you track your redirects and 404\u2019s. This will ensure that search engines aren\u2019t getting 404\u2019s and your customers end up on the right page.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Updates to social media and online directories\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you have updated any branding, logos or main website URL\u2019s then don\u2019t forget to update them on all the places you appear online.
